Yevhen Prymachenko. Warriors of Good
War forced Ukrainians to fight enemy forces and to overcome hardships and stress responses that radically affect one’s emotional state. A sense of safety is something we all lack now. Despite that, we stand united against constant pressure and an existential threat. Men and women abandoned their civilian life, took up arms and became true defenders of freedom and justice; they are our iron shield and a strong weapon that represents our entire nation.
The artist’s series reflects and embodies the silhouettes of Ukrainian soldiers on the frontline. The sculptures express our gratitude to and respect for those who earned eternal glory in the fight for freedom, independence and the force of good.
